Salvation Army. Thrift Store. The only one. Addiction. VINTAGE. Trendy. Oh yes, you only have to be a good hunter. I love hunting…
My friend David (the designer of this website) told me about this store two years ago…
Vintage is one of the words that I have most heard since I have gotten in New York. In the clothes stores, in furniture stores, jewelry stores, in the markets, on the streets… Vintage is trendy. Consequently, vintage is expensive! But there are many options in this city… I rather go to Salvation Army!
Salvation Army has many Thrift Stores in New York City. In this stores you can find clothes, shoes, furniture… that some people leave there. Newyorkers go there to give away their old used stuffs. For this reason, is convenient if you choose the store in the neighborhood that you like. I mean, if you like how wear the people on Upper East Side, you have to go tho Salvation Army on UES. But if you like the brooklyner style, go to Williamsburg or Greenpoint!!
Don’t forget, the wednesday is the family’s day and they have half price in some stuff!
If you like hunting, this is your store. I bought some vintage dresses, skirts, bags… Yesterday I bougth an skirt and an split skirt! I’m addicted!
