Things to do This is New York!

New York loves Catalonia!

Els castellers de Vilafranca ja són a Nova York i venen a fer Castells!!!!

Yesterday it was one of those days that remind me why I love so much this city…

The city give me another gift..

At morning I had some meeting with wonderful people. It was really hot outside. It was not a day to walk in the city… I had lunch in Midtown with a friend and I went to another meeting, where again I really enjoyed. After that, I was going to walk until my next destination, but the hot changes my mind and I took the train.

Then, just happens. I saw them! I took the R train, they were going to do a performance. I saw them, I had never meet before, and I just told them in catalan, “You are already here”… They were susprise, but I was waiting for them. I knew that they were coming to NY to performance Castells, the Human Towers.

It had to happen like that. I had to change my way to see them and feel at home, so close; speaking catalan in the R train… Feeling at home in New York, as many, many times! It was another gift of the city…

Read what The New York Times “A Human Tower Needs a Foundation as Well as a Pinnacle” said about it!

Go, go to see them! You will see one of the most spectacular, touching and beautiful traditions!
